We are looking for an energetic salesperson with a strong drive to grow
and develop business within our existing account base and new customer
opportunities.
About us:
Smith-Southwestern is an Import distributor for souvenirs, gifts, books,
and calendars, Christmas cards and much more. Smith-Southwestern has
offered sales and service to our extensive customer base for over 50
years. We pride ourselves in our quality sales team providing the
highest level of service to our customers within our 13-state area.
Smith-Southwestern provides the highest quality of support to our sales team;
including sales managers, customer service, accounting, warehouse and computer
support. We also provide an extensive training program to ensure our teams’
understanding of job and duties. Our sales force is fully automated with
computers that provide real-time inventory and account information updates.
And, our 53,000 sq. ft distribution facility is fully automated with direct
order pulling and shipping from our facility in Arizona.

We are looking for a career sales person that has the ability to grow
business and maintain our customer base in the territory and its surrounding
areas.

- Develop and grow our market presence in the territory
- Maintain and service our existing client base
- To close a sale
- Practice excellent presentation and communication skills
- Be self motivated
- Have a strong sales background
- Show a merchandising background
- Be goal oriented
- Have excellent organizational skills

We have existing fixtures and footage in most major chain stores as well
as independent locations. Our sales team will typically write orders and
merchandise on a bi-weekly and monthly basis.
Most of our existing client base has the ability at to purchase all product
we offer, giving our sales people the ability to immediately grow business
with in our existing customer base.
All of our sales team is automated with small tablet laptops. These units
give our sales team an understanding the history of our accounts and real
time inventory availability.
